VECCI’s Business Campaign Fighting Fund plays a key role in helping us actively influence the Victorian business policy and regulatory environment.

Many VECCI members contribute voluntarily to the Fund. These contributions are gratefully received and acknowledged.

Some of VECCI’s recent policy ‘wins’ include:

• cuts in WorkCover premiums – for 5 successive years
• significant payroll and land tax relief
• new funding for vital infrastructure projects, including those in regional Victoria
• measures to alleviate skill shortages
• funding to support clean coal technologies and carbon capture and storage.

These are just some examples of achievements made possible by the VECCI Business Campaign Fighting Fund. Clearly further challenges lie ahead.
