The Sustainability stream considered the overarching issues of sustainability challenges for Victoria, particularly in relation to energy supply and carbon reduction. Given the focus on this issue by governments across the world, the stream focused on developing core policy solutions in areas such as investment needs for emerging technologies and energy alternatives, transition planning to identify real opportunities and challenges for jobs and the economy, and support for sustainable business opportunities.
