Determine Your Modern Award
The Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) released the below information as at Friday 18th December 2009. It contains a listing of all awards considered in the making of Modern Awards, and where possible Modern Award coverage for these pre-reform awards may lie as a result of the AIRC decisions.

It is important that before going direct to the spreadsheet that you read the AIRC comments in relation to the production and use of this tool.
Draft awards audit by modern awards
If you know your pre-reform award title, the AIRC document will assist you in determining the possible award/s coverage for your business. This is a useful tool which will assist employers in understanding which awards they may need to consider in determining coverage. The Modern Award translator is a tool that has been provided by VECCI to help employers determine the correct Modern Award for their business.
It contains simplified information, extracted from all the current published awards, condensed into a format that is easier to search & understand, to find where positions & industries are covered. This will allow you to search for specific award titles or classifications within awards and see an extract of what is covered in each of the awards.
Please be aware that this tool contains information that is current as of 17 December 2009.
The Australian Industrial Relations Commission has not yet finalised all amendments to Modern Awards, so this tool may be updated in the future to reflect the latest information.
