Carbon Management 101 Briefing

Why we developed this briefing

Keeping track of current national and international developments towards a low-carbon economy can be challenging. Businesses that understand how the transition to a carbon-constrained economy will impact upon their business operations will not only save money, they will also be better placed to capitalise on new business opportunities.

The Federal Government recently announced a new multi-party Climate Change Committee that will consider the options and build a consensus on how Australia will tackle climate change.

The committee will meet monthly to explore potential polices and put forward the best mechanism to address climate change for our nation. The shift towards a low-carbon economy is gaining traction and businesses that understand how the transition will work, will be better placed to capitalise on opportunities in the changing environment.

The Carbon Management 101 briefing has been developed specifically for SMEs; it cuts through the 'carbon jargon' and is an essential guide to measuring and managing your business' carbon footprint, and identifying opportunities for making environmental and financial savings.
