Leading Through Change
Why we developed this program
Change is a normal part of today’s workplace and work environment. Yet not many change initiatives succeed. They generally fail because during times of change, managers do not give enough attention to the people’s emotions, reactions and responses to what is happening around them and to them.
This one-day workshop will introduce participants to a number of elements to consider in situations of change. There are a number of areas that change agents need to take into consideration when planning and introducing change in an organisation. The most important are the emotional challenges to those affected in times of uncertainty. The staff motivation may drop dramatically as they face turbulent times whilst being required at the same time to meet the Business as Usual expectations from management and customers. Change is not an event but it is usually continuous and therefore some change fatigue by the followers and customers should be expected.
Designed For
This workshop is recommended for all those in management and supervisory roles, as well as team members. Participants will be introduced to a number of Models of Change Management and will then be asked to participate in discussing and planning steps to apply their learning to their workplace situations.
