VWA Endorsed Role of a Return to Work Coordinator
VECCI Training Vouchers cannot be used on this course
Why we developed this programThe Accident Compensation Act requires employers to meet certain obligations regarding occupational rehabilitation and return to work of injured workers. Failure to meet these obligations can expose you to significant fines and potential prosecution.
The return to work of injured employees is an important part of the rehabilitation process. An unsuccessful or prolonged return to work can be detrimental to your organisation.
This program covers the importance of establishing and implementing return to work plans that give the best chance of measuring a worker's compliance, and the consequences should a worker fail to meet their obligations under the Act.
VECCI was the first employer association endorsed to conduct this 2-day program, and have been offering it as part of our scheduled training directory for a number of years. Although currently offered by other training providers, rehabilitation providers, and indeed WorkCover Agents themselves, only VECCI delivers this training truly from an employer's perspective, utilising fully our experience as Victoria's leading employer association for over 150 years. Our training consultants have many years' experience dealing with workers compensation in industry.
On completion of both days of the program (within a 12-week period) participants will be issued with a certificate of completion bearing both the VECCI and VWA logos - an attractive inclusion on any Curriculum Vitae.
