Shipment of goods under carnet to the USA

All foreign carnets entering the United States via vessel are now required to complete an Importer Security Filing (10+2 filing or ISF) and a suitable bond.  This ISF must be submitted to US Customs and Border protection (CBP) 24 hours prior to the cargo being loaded onto a US bound vessel.  Please make sure you make contact with your customs broker/freight forwarder to make sure that all the necessary information is completed on the ISF as per the requirement of the forms.  Penalties may occur if not adhered to.  More information please click here
