VEIC Ministers Luncheon with the Hon. Tim Holding - 29 June 2010 

This year’s Minister’s Luncheon was held at the stylish Eureka 89, on Tuesday 29 June, with superb views over Melbourne’s premium sporting precinct. 

Twenty VEIC members and guests once again had the fortunate opportunity to discuss key issues and changes within the industry with Minister Holding and their industry colleagues.  Points raised included:  Infrastructure and integrated transport strategies, Liquor Licensing, the events benefit to the overall economy - not just the tourism sector, growth of business events in Victoria including the expansion of MCEC, how we can do more with regards to regional events among many other discussions.  

VEIC would like to thank our supporting partner for the day, Eureka 89, whose staff, food and surrounds provided the perfect ambience for this luncheon.
