Current Policy Agenda

The current VECCI policy agenda is broad and ongoing.

VECCI is continuing to work hard lobbying both sides of Government to respond to the issues raised by VECCI members throughout the year and during the 'Victoria Summit' so as to achieve the best outcome for Victorian businesses. Our policy priorities for 2008 will focus on the following issues:

• Reducing business taxation.
• Increasing Victorian infrastructure and business investment.
• Growing and facilitating increased exports and trade.
• Improving the industrial relations environment for Victorian businesses.
• Driving increased business competitiveness through an improved WorkCover system.
• Enhancing the quality of business education, employment and training.
• Regulatory Reform.
