Policy Task Forces

In light of the Government's proposed second term agenda and policy program for business, we have established a range of policy Task Forces to assist in progressing our policy priorities over 2003/04.  Task Forces develop practical policy and/or program reform recommendations in the following five areas:
  • Increasing Victorian business investment.
  • Growing and facilitating increased exports and trade.
  • Improving the industrial relations environment for Victorian business.
  • Driving increased business certainty and competitiveness through an improved WorkCover and OHS system.
  • Exploring issues relating to environmental sustainability and business
  • Enhancing the quality of business education, employment and training.
Priority membership to Task Forces is offered to those members taking out a VECCI "Business Agenda" membership (see Membership Packages). This strategy is designed to underpin the value proposition offered to these members. The TaskForces are chaired by a member of VECCI's Executive Council.
Participation from members with appropriate interest and experience in the respective issue areas under review is welcome.  All participants must be full financial members of VECCI.
