Have your say on bushfire preparedness

Date: 8/02/2010

Category: Representation

As part of the quarterly Survey of Tourism Performance and Outlook undertaken by VTIC, feedback is being sought on the level of bushfire preparedness by those in the industry.

The VTIC Survey is an important source of up-to-date data specific to Victoria’s tourism industry. The findings receive wide media coverage and provide key evidence for VTIC when representing the interests of the industry to government. This is particularly important in the current economic environment.

The special questions relate to the level of bushfire preparedness within the tourism, accommodation, attraction and hospitality industries. Feedback on this issue will support ongoing policy and advocacy efforts in this area.
