Victoria’s tourism industry encourages the community to get out and about in its own backyard during Victoria Tourism Week, September 6 – 11, as the industry celebrates the great contribution it makes to the State.
Victoria Tourism Week, a joint initiative between industry organisations Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) and Destination Melbourne, will feature events throughout the State for tourism operators, industry employees and the public, including forums, workshops, information exchanges and open days at Visitor Information Centres.
Visit your local Visitor Information Centre – there are great prizes to be won. Visit one of over 24 Visitor Information Centre BBQs and events to be held across the State, on Saturday 11 September. Corryong and Wangaratta Visitor Information Centres will be holding BBQs on Friday 10 September.
More information on the BBQs will be available at www.victoriatourismweek.com.au.
