Visas & Migration Services for Business Growth

Borders don't have to be barriers.  If you want to grow your business, the Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and Industry can help you succeed through:

  1. Visa 459
  2. Skilled Migration
  3. Business Migration

Visa 459

If a prospective overseas importer or partner wants to visit you or your facilities in Australia, you don't want undue Visa delays to get in the way of conducting business.  That is why, we have partnered with the Department of Immigration (DIAC) to become an authorised sponsoring organisation for the Visa 459 short stay business Visa to Australia

Arranging this kind of Visa would involve an application to sponsor the prospective visitors, followed by an application for the visa by the prospective visitors themselves.

Acceptable purposes for such a Visa include official visits, business meetings, training, building inspections or the installation of equipment.  There must also be a demonstrable need for your visitor to be in Australia to undertake the business activity.

Skilled Migration

If employing skilled individuals from overseas will help your business plans, we may be able to help you arrange employer-sponsored migration.   This can be temporary or permanent employment, to bring the specialised skills you need from offshore.

We can help you with:

  1. Sourcing and identifying appropriate international skilled labour
  2. Establishment of business sponsorship arrangements – Australian and overseas business
  3. Advice on business sponsorship obligations and undertakings and compliance issues
  4. Guidance on employer nomination and regional sponsorship schemes
  5. Preparation, lodgement and monitoring of employers' applications
  6. Assistance to business responding to sponsorship monitoring by immigration authorities
  7. Preparation, lodgement and monitoring of Australian visa applications

Business Migration

VECCI can also provide advice and assistance to business migrants wishing to invest in existing or set up new businesses within Victoria through their International Business Centre (IBC).  The IBC provides a range of free and confidential services that make it an ideal facility for companies wishing to do business in Victoria.
