Education and Training Adviser Program
Overview

The Education and Training Adviser (ETA) is responsible for increasing the knowledge and understanding of education and training within the workplace.

The four main priorities of the ETA Project are to:

  • Provide information on Vocational Education and Training issues within the National Training Framework and New Apprenticeship Program
  • To work with employers to increase their involvement with New Apprenticeships and School Based New Apprenticeships<
  • Promote the VET system and enhance links and interaction between stakeholders i.e. employers, employees, schools, students, Government and other bodies
  • Gather information on issues within the VET sector to provide recommendations for future actions, initiatives and developments

The Adviser is available to provide members with free information, advice and assistance on a wide range of training issues. The Adviser also provides feedback to key stakeholders on employers' attitudes and concerns regarding the training system.

Regional Project

Recognising the demand for skilled workers in regional Victoria, VECCI has negotiated the establishment of a Regional Education and Training Adviser to be based on Bendigo to support our rural members.
