Current Employment, Education and Training Programs available are:
Education and Training Adviser (ETA) – works to increase knowledge and understanding of education and training within the workplace. The Adviser is available to provide members with free information, advice and assistance on a wide range of training issues. The Adviser also provides feedback to key stakeholders on employers' attitudes and concerns regarding the training system.
Industry Liaison Agent (ILA) – the ILA provides services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the area of general manufacturing. Specifically the ILA will work with SMEs to identify training needs and stimulate demand for workplace training programs to address skill gaps and the needs of existing workers. This service is available free to members to assist with training needs assessment for existing workers and the development of training solutions.
Business and Industry Strategic Working Alliance (BISWA) - the BISWA works with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Department of Education, Science and Training to engage employers with:
- Career education in schools
- General employability skills and life-long learning
- New Apprenticeships for school students
- Vocational Education and Training in schools
