VECCI is proud to launch a partnership with our Charity of Choice - HeartKids Victoria. Congenital heart disease is the leading cause of death in Australian children under five and we will be actively supporting HeartKids to make a difference to the kids and families affected in Victoria.
Every four hours a child is born with a heart condition, which means that in Victoria alone around 8,000 children each year are treated for cardiac issues. Despite these alarming figures, most Victorians have not heard about the impact of childhood heart disease. |

This is an exciting opportunity for VECCI and our members to join together to support the work of HeartKids.

How to Join
- Complete and mail the Corporate Membership Form directly to HeartKids Victoria
Supporting HeartKids as a Corporate Member is easy – simply fill out the attached Corporate Membership Form and send it to HeartKids at the address provided with your membership fee of $300.
- Indicate how many merchandise boxes you would like for your office
You may also like to raise awareness and additional funds by investing in a HeartKids Victoria merchandise box and donation tin for $200. The box contains a variety of HeartKids merchandise including pens, stickers, magnetic frames, greeting cards and music CDs and is a great way to promote your involvement to everyone who enters your business… as well as giving your wider community a chance to contribute to this vital cause.

- HeartKids will send you a Certificate of Corporate Membership so you can display your support in the office
- HeartKids will provide you with a guide to setting up a Workplace Giving Program to provide an easy way for your staff to be involved in supporting HeartKids financially
- HeartKids will email you an electronic Employee Information Kit to encourage your team to become involved and inform them about childhood heart disease, the role of HeartKids Victoria and your corporate commitment. As well as outlining some practical ways in which they can participate like the employee Workplace Giving Program, fundraising in the workplace, individual donations and volunteering. All volunteers will be issued with a Certificate of Volunteer Registration
- HeartKids will email you with its newsletter to keep you up to date with how your membership is making a difference
- You will receive 10% off wide range of HeartKids Victoria merchandise like mugs and t-shirts, which make a fantastic inclusion in corporate and staff gifts to promote your commitment to HeartKids
