The Victorian H.M.A.A (Hotel Motel & Accommodation Association) Awards for Excellence, sponsored by A.A.A Tourism have been announced in Melbourne tonight, with nearly 20 venues and industry personalities taking out the top honours.
More than 200 prominent figures in the Australian tourism and hospitality industry were present - including Victorian Tourism Minister John Pandazopoulos - for the seventh annual awards night, held at Atlantic South Wharf at Melbourne's Southbank.
"Service standards in many ways drive the success of our tourism industry and these awards celebrate these standards at their highest pinnacle", says HMAA Victoria Chair, Ms Carol Douglas.
