Resignation of Premier Steve Bracks
7/27/2007 2:30:13 AM

Premier Steve Bracks will be missed but it is envisaged that the productive working relationship business enjoys with the current Premier will be continued during the term of his successor.

“Premier Bracks led a government that was able to forge a productive relationship with VECCI and the broader business community”, says VECCI Chief Executive Officer Neil Coulson.

“The Premier has always been approachable and available to discuss matters of importance to business, and has governed with a view to the wider Victorian economy.

“He leaves a legacy of responsible financial management, competitive payroll tax and WorkCover premiums and a strong infrastructure focus going forward.

“VECCI hopes to work as productively with Premier Bracks’ successor and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours”, says Mr Coulson.
