A review into Accident Compensation laws and the pending nine new Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance codes will have a significant impact on business, says VECCI.
"The independent review into Accident Compensation is the first opportunity in 22 years to review the law and the management of compensation claims, the red tape impost on business and anomalies in the system", says VECCI Head of Workplace Relations, David Gregory.
"New OHS compliance codes mean that employers need to ensure they understand the new codes and are compliant.
"These briefings will provide employers with an opportunity to be aware of what is on the agenda for changes to the compensation system and to provide feedback based on their own compensation experiences", says Mr Gregory.
